Mindfulness and Compassion Retreat at the Cabragh Lodge, NW Ireland.
Who is the Retreat for?
The Mindfulness and Compassion Retreat at the Cabragh Lodge in February suits both those with a meditation practice and complete beginners interested in mindfulness and compassion. It is also ideal for mindfulness teachers and trainees. Kathy Ward and Fiona McMahon give full support.
This retreat will enable you to nourish yourself by experiencing stillness and self-connection in a remote hillside setting in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Ox Mountains overlooking the countryside below Kesh Mountain and Knocknashee in the distance.
Early booking is highly recommended

Once confirmed and so that you can spread the cost of the retreat, we ask for a 100 euro deposit, with the balance due one week before the retreat starts.
What to expect
With a maximum of 12 participants, we will explore how to bring kindness and self-compassion into our lives so that we can live well. There is plenty of time to relax and renew without the need to communicate or ´do´ anything. For your comfort, chairs, meditation cushions, and blankets are provided.
The retreat includes spaciously guided sitting, standing, lying, mindful movement, Qi-Gong, and walking practices in the stunning local moor area as we cultivate direct exploration of mindfulness and compassion.
There will also be times when we practice silence together, including a full day of silent practice on Sunday. All sessions are optional.
In the evening there will be the opportunity to relax with a Sound Bath (Gongs) practice gentle Qi Gong or learn how to dissolve tension and let go with Mindful Myofascial Release!
