• SiTT Community Support for Integrity in Teaching and Training

Meetings are the first Tuesday of every month from 8 - 9 pm Madrid (7 - 8 pm UK) Registration link shown below.

SiTT recognizes the value of community and peer support in the field of mindfulness teaching and training. Connection with other teachers is invaluable in a long-term commitment to personal practice and authentic teaching. Peer reflection presents a unique opportunity to learn about oneself by listening to and learning about another.

Peer support offers reciprocal benefits and can therefore lower the financial commitment of CPD. This saving can transfer to lower course costs for the general public making mindfulness more accessible across social-economic boundaries.

SiTT Community membership can demonstrate ongoing commitment, continued development, and adherence to good practice, and by coming along to an online International SiTT Group with Kathy you become part of a global community of mindfulness teachers, trainees, trainers, and assessors who adhere to UK good practice guidelines, adopted across the world as the gold standard.

    Our objectives are:

    • To facilitate a network of peer reflection groups among mindfulness teachers, trainers, trainees, and assessors.
    • To facilitate peer-led support for personal mindfulness practice among mindfulness teachers, trainers, trainees, and assessors.
    • To build local communities of mindfulness teachers.
    • To support and demonstrate adherence to good practice guidelines among members.

All times are 8 - 9 pm Madrid (7 - 8 pm UK) There is no meeting in August.

Important: SiTT meetings begin at 8 pm with a short silent sit of around 10-minutes to allow us time to settle and fully arrive together. This is to ensure the meetings start with a focused intention so please arrive on time.

If new members are present it may be necessary to say a few words at the start to make this clear. There will be time to say hello and introduce yourself a little later in the session.

Sessions are free, however, donations to SiTT are welcome. Some members offer a monthly donation via direct debit, others donate annually. We also welcome singular contributions however small. 100% of all donations and contributions go towards supporting the SiTT community to continue, grow and hopefully one day flourish.
