• 5-Day in-person Silent Retreat daily schedule

    Please arrive by 4 pm for orientation and 'taking tea' This is then followed by the opening ceremony and welcome dinner. The 5-Day retreats finish at 4pm on the last day.

    Sample daily silent retreat schedule:

    • 07.30 - 08.30 Silent meditation practice
    • 08.30 - 09.45 Breakfast
    • 09.45 - 13.00 Short talk on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness or Four Realities, spacious mindfulness-based guiding and silent practice
    • 13.00 - 15.30 Lunch and free time
    • 15.30 - 19.30 Short talk - "The Four Immeasurable Heart Practices" Spacious mindfulness-based guiding and silent practice 
    • 19.30 - 20.00 Optional individual meetings
    • Continued overnight silence.

    There will also be a mid morning and mid afternoon 30-minute break for informal practice and ¨taking tea¨

    Practice includes sitting, lying, standing practices, mindful movement, mindful walking and mindful walking in nature.
