• Below you will find an outline of each of the 7 days of training on the Mindfulness Teacher Training Level 1. 

    The curriculum also includes a pre-course live online workshop exploring the 6 Domains of teaching mindfulness and the Mindfulness-based Teaching Assessment Criteria (MBI-TAC) Recordings are available if you miss the session.

    The course primarily focuses on the teaching process and curriculum of the official UMass and CMRP group based 8 week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction MBSR course however the underpinning experience and understanding is also valuable for those who wish to integrate mindfulness into their work or teach mindfulness in a different form.     Day 1:

    • 16.00 - 18.30 Teaching Mindfulness including the four ways of establishing mindfulness (body, feelings, mind and the object of the mind) the four heart qualities (love, compassion, joy and equanimity) known as the four friends for life in secular mindfulness and the Brahmaviharas in Buddhist psychology.
    • 18.30 - 19.00/19.30 Group reflection and personal journaling to embed the learning
